In the fields of Health, Yoga, Meditation, Stress Management and Personal Development there is a sense of fragmentation and confusion on how to access and use contemplative practices. This is caused by the multiple, diverse and sometimes conflicting approaches and styles within an overwhelming quantity of media and resources available today in the marketplace. Because of lack of time and energy, many individuals and particularly those who suffer from high stress levels are often not able to effectively access and sustain a cohesive contemplative program that is not s scaled to their needs.
The purpose of the 8 fields of practice is to offer multiple entry points to a contemplative practice with a unique pathway for each person to continue their practice in a cohesive and holistic way.
