She enters the third phase of life with curiosity
She releases old roles and habits and allows herself to rewild herself
She expresses her elegance through her confidence, posture and unique style
She revels in creativity
She expresses her soulfulness by finding inspiration in poetry, spirituality, community, nature and art
She is supported in a spiritual path that honors the sacred feminine
She has released outdated mindsets of aging
Critical thinking is part of her mindset
She continues to become aware of the constructs of patriarchy and makes a conscious effort to release them within herself and in society
She is aware of and comes from a place of privilege regarding race, education or status
She is engaged in sacred work
She meets her shadow side with patience
She becomes practiced at letting go
She celebrates her own and others accomplishments
Empowering younger women is highly valued as she invests in future generations
She cultivates a conscious and engaged relationship with mortality
And with these attributes...
She lives soulfully!
WHEN is the time TO ENTER SOUL CRONE HOOD?
What is Soul Crone hood about?
It can all be simplified to one word:
WISDOM
A highly valuable attribute that can be present in women of all ages.
As we journey through life, we experience an ever evolving and shifting emotional, hormonal, physical and mental process. Then we arrive at the season of 50ish.
By this point, we all have dipped deeply into life and met countless complex situations. In other words: We are experienced.
This wealth of experience can provide us with well earned clarity as we step back and look at decades of life lived. That perspective is simply not available to us when we are in our thirties or even forties. Entry points can be at different times: Turning 50, Entering Menopause, Exiting Menopause, Going through our Saturn return (age 59/60), Reaching the official retirement age at 65, Becoming more aware of our mortality.
To sum it up
Each of our journeys are unique, and we may reach this point at a vastly different age.
Together we:
Continue to evolve. We share our experiences and insights. We learn from each other and together. We share the beauty and challenges of the third phase of our lives. We explore our spirituality. We envision and co create a new narrative about aging. We contribute to the healing of the wounded feminine in ourselves and for the generations to come. We contribute to the dismantling of patriarchy and live an empowered old age steeped in feminine wisdom.
